Beginner Handstand Workshop
The workshop highlights the importance of understanding the foundations of handstand training. It covers practices for proper preparation of wrists, joints, mobility, strength, basic spotting techniques, and basic falling techniques. Participants can expect to learn controlled kick-ups to a handstand using the wall, refine their handstand form, find balance in the handstand, and receive suggestions on common issues and exercises to help progress.
The workshop is suitable for complete beginners who might have never attempted a handstand before, or have done so a few times without understanding body awareness and wish to learn foundational practice. No prior experience in handstands, yoga, or fitness level is necessary. All are welcome.
