Coming here as a child of the earth, loved by the sunlight from my grandpa, comforted by my grandma’s rooted trees, blessed by the soft touch of the wind from my mother and the rain that carries the love of my father from the mountain heights, this child of the earth is made of love, of hearts, and flows in a river of play until the child lets go of the last breath and returns the body once borrowed to the beloved earth. And once again, for a million times more, the child says, “Thank you.”
