Peter Pan

Oh Peter, Peter Pan,
You left your beloved Never Never Land
to land your hands in the wonder of Wonder Land.
To grow as you live — you live as you learn.
To take as you give — you receive as you care to return.

Oh Peter, Peter Pan,
Livingly lively in the Wonder Wonder Land,
but how to land your hands back to your own heart?
Where lies the way to the path you truly wonder,
that leads to the home you deeply ponder?

The door is open,
to where the sky lets your wings spread free,
and your heart flow freely into the sea.
If you believe you can go there, you will.

Oh Peter, Peter Pan,
You are free to go, just as you are free to flow,
into the heart of the boy who never grows,
for growing up is never quite what it shows,
in the truth of the land where your heart truly knows.

Oh Peter, Peter Pan,
But the way home may lead you to journey the art
of roads that were built but never meant to last,
with obstacles lying between the lands—
just don’t forget, you can always fly to your Never Land.

The door is open,
to where love flies endlessly free,
and wisdom lies deep within ‘thee’.
If you believe you can go there, you will.

Who are you — in this finite life of yours?
In this infinite yours — who you are.

Come here, child, play — you’re protected.
Come here, love, rest — you’re beloved.
Come here, heart, joy — you’re free.
Come here, boy, come back, come home.

~

Oh Peter, Peter Pan,
Remember your beloved Never Never Land?

You, dear Peter Pan,
living in this Wonder Land.
You, live.
You, live.
Live.

… and if you ever need me,
whenever you need me,
I’ll be right there with you.
I’ll be there for you.

… just so you know,
you’re not alone,
you’re never alone.
and you are so, so loved.
Loved, loved, loved.

… my love is with you…
with you,
all the time.
