You want to go somewhere more wonderful,
but you’re still holding onto your pride,
carrying the charms that weigh you down,
and staying where you think you’re right.
I want to go somewhere more wonderful,
but I’m still holding onto my pride,
carrying the charms that weigh me down,
and staying where I believe I’m right.

Do you know what holds you back?
… but do I know what holds me back?
The tree will grow
because it chooses to grow.
An apple will drop
when it’s time — it chooses to drop.
I do not ask for your love
just to feed my hunger —
I simply choose to love you,
and let it all drop.
The tree grows,
and the earth is there to receive it —
An apple falls
to the one who cares to savor it —
I do not ask for your love
to love me.
You choose the love in me —
because you deserve it.
~
I can first make a choice of my own.
A choice to give, a choice to choose — I first choose alone.
Another choice will be made, when it chooses to be made,
And I will receive what I deserve — as I deserves my fate.
~
Do you know what you choose?
Do you know what chooses you?
… but do I know what I choose?
… but do I know what chooses me?
It’s not in the ‘why’ — but in the understanding.
What we learn is also found in the rising.
They asked me: “Do you still believe in a great love — in a person?”
I smiled, with cheeky eyes, and said, “Yes.” Without hesitation.
Cause I know — my love lives and rises in my own nest.
I will meet the great one — as long as I let
the person, in front of you — me — be —
that person. Do you see? The proof is in me.

The answer is not in what happened in a love that did not last.
It lies in what we’ve learned from the love that dropped.
If love did happen and grow from hearts that were in tune,
Then love was given to lift the hearts that would help you both bloom.
They asked me:
”If I still believe someone with a great love exists?”
I said yes: “I am the reflection of that one.
And I exist.”

Do they know the answer?
… but do I know the answer?
